Hi

A fellow of pokerstrategy.fr gets the error message:

System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Impossible de charger le fichier ou l'assembly 'SitNGoWizard.1.1, Version=1.0.2.37, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' ou une de ses dépendances. Le fichier spécifié est introuvable.
Nom du fichier : 'SitNGoWizard.1.1, Version=1.0.2.37, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'

He has made all windows update, scanned the viruses (avast) ccleaner; reinstalled HM1 without any success.

What is the cause and what could he do?

Thanks for your answer and regards

Which Windows does he have?
Is it also updated to the latest Service Pack? (so XP SP3, Vista SP2, or Windows 7 SP1)

Reinstall HM1 with the full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe
Then update to: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_10Oct2013.exe

See if it happens with just the full install, don't install the update yet.

If none of that helps, I would suggest a clean reinstall:

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/126/Using+Revo+Uninstaller+

http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/99/Reinstalling+HEM+without+Losing+Preferences+

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall, Leftovers Uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files. If you have Holdem Manager 2 installed do not delete any folders in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager. If Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\HoldemManager.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

Same issue here. Removing HEM with revo uninstaller and reinstalling the full installer doesn't resolve it. Already in contact with the support. Please let me know if you got this resolved.

I resolved this in a rather illogical way. This were the Steps I took:

1. Full uninstallation of HEM.
2. Running HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_10Oct2013 (1).exe
3. Starting HEM - it was running but some files were missing
4. Running Holdem_Manager_Setup_1.12.10b (3).exe
5. Starting HEM - it was running but my config was missing
6. Copy/Pasted my original backed up Config folder in the new created config folder
7. Running HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_10Oct2013 (1).exe so I can use the latest version.
8. Started HEM and everything was running as it should.

Hope that helps,

Cheers

Thank you DaFoo, I was coming to post that.

It looks like there is a corrupted file in there. I'm guessing prefs.xml.

Sometimes, you can open these files in notepad or notepad++ and save them as .xml or .pop, whatever they originally were, and move them back. Sometimes, they are corrupted and you cannot recover them.
