Hi!

I have been using holdem manager for a long time now and it is just great...

Still, in the past two months I have been having the following problem: the stats for the players are ok (i think) but it is not tracking the money well - the money I win/loose in every session; the EV; and the Rake generated are wrong.

What should I do?

What currency are you playing?
Do you play more than one currency?
If so have you setup currency stats in your reports section?

HEM tracks hands in £, $ and €. In HEM the column headers are £GBP, $USD and €EUR and can be setup for winnings, EV and rake. If you are using the "Winnings stat" even though a $ symbol is used it is not equal to USD or any other currency. This is your total amount won/lost without currency conversions.
Your sessions tab and graphs can also be displayed in the currency of your choice. Currency exchange rates can be adjusted in Options ---> Settings ---> Currency.

First I played a lot pf hands using "Dollar Currency" (and everything worked just fine); then I played for a little period using "Euro Currency" (playing in Unibet) and back to "Dollar Currency". After this last change (playing again in FT) it all got messy: did not track all hands and the values for the winnings / EV and Rake are wrong...

I went to "Options ---> Settings ---> Currency" and it says I am playing in "dollars"...

FTP have changed their method of rake calculation.

Please ensure you are running the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe

Please check this thread to make sure you’ve the correct import folders setup for your site
http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1/Information+About+Setting+Up+Poker+Clients

On the import TAB check if there are import errors showing up, if so can you create a new database http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database and see if there is also import errors with that database

If there is please email the original hands to support@holdemmanager.net and also link to this thread

If there is anything else, please post or e-mail a screenshot to support@holdemmanager.net and also link to this thread, of any problems you think you are having.

I now have the latest version and the same problem happens...

I think it is not importing all hands which I do not know if it makes any sense...

I have exported all hands from my database (i have hands from FT and hands from Unibet-Prima)... I opened the .txt files and I saw that the prima files were the last ones to be download.

What do you think of deleting the database and creating a new one (using these backups files) but deleting the ones from Prima (I do not play there anymore). The reason for my idea is that it was from the time I played in Unibet that the problems started so it could be related to it...

Is it simple to delete the database and create a new one with the same backed up hands?

If you are going to play on Unibet again please try this fix. Uncheck "Import from Subfolders" in the auto-import settings. Move the gamehistory.dat file your \hmarchive folder and import it via Import From File(s). Try a new session with auto-import. A new handhistory file should be generated.

It is straightforward to create a new database and delete the old one. Do not delete the old one until you are happy that you have everything you need in your new database. Please see this FAQ.
