So during a day i usually have it a couple of times, i play and at some point the hud crashes and it uses up one of my computer cores (25%), sometimes it works after a hud relaunch or HM restart but mostly not, the hus window opens it says scanning (tablename) and gets stuck there, if I now close that table where it got stuck I am back to normal, its just very frustrating if its a good table and i can choose to leave or play with no hud on all tables. Had that problem for a long time on 2 different skins

Thanks for the help

1) Please update HM1 to the last known build
http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_05Aug2013.exe

2) Make sure your Pacific poker client initially is installed in English. If this is not so - reinstall it "over existing".

Please update to the latest version 1.13.02 - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_05Aug2013.exe

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems
4) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/)

If you feel the need to pay for security I would suggest ESET NOD or Kaspersky.

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMImport.exe, HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe
5) Do the same for your 888 .exe file.

If you continue to have problems:

Enable logging from the HUD options->Table prefs menu. When the crash happens again, go to the logs\log.txt file and move it to another location before you restart the hud. I want to get the 'crash' log.txt file after you finish playing. If you restart the hud before moving the log.txt file, it is overwritten.
