Last couple of weeks when playing a session I get the message "Pokerstars client gui not working" and forcing me to quit the client.

When looking at the details when this happens I get this message:

With Blitz.dll being a holdem manager issue, how do I fix this? I couldnt find any other similar topics about this made in last two months.

Its quite annoying because it happens atleast once a day forcing me to time out a lot of hands

Are you already using the latest Beta update? http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.02_05Aug2013.exe

Please close stars and HM before installing the update. You need to update the Stars client to the latest release too to use this beta.

I was using that version when it started, then downgraded to the July update, but still same problem.

Guess I will try reinstalling Pokerstars and Hem using this version. Hope it works

Yes, try a reinstall of both PokerStars and HM1.

Also for W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as admin istrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.**

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.**

**
do the same for the main PokerStars.exe file.

Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

I did all that and found out I did not have the latest updates of windows 7 / .net frameworks.

After updating everything seems to be working, only a couple of hours in though.

Thank you very much for your advice and help. Hopefully it is fixed now (but think it is)
