Database Control Panel

Server name: 127.0.0.1
Port number: 5432
Login: Postgres
Password: Postgrespass

After I click connect, a "Db control panel" screen pops up and says:

A connection to PostgreSQL could not be made. Would you like Holdem Manager attempt to start the service?

If I click Yes, it says "Sorry Holdem Manager was unable to start the service." And if I click No, it says the same.

I have downloaded and installed postgreSQL. Also, I have Vista.

Please help asap!

These issues are due to your antivirus/firewall etc blocking PostgreSQL connecting to the database, if you follow those FAQ exactly it almost always solves the problem, for the few that it dosent solve its probbably a really tricky issue so it might be better to try the PostgreSQL forums for assistance
