i use windows XP, and play on full tilt, and have the latest version of HEM. i cascade 8 tables, if that is relevant, at this time i was playing 8 cash as well as the midnight madness tournament.

in the middle of a session just now i got an error message, that postgres.exe had had an error and needed to close. then, some of my HUD displays cut out, while others remained. within a couple of minutes, as i was winding down my session, all of the hud displays disappeared. i then shut down full tilt, and told HEM to stop the import. it displayed the "stopping" message for about 30 seconds (way longer than usual), so i hit the X, and it asked me if i wanted to stop and close, i said yes, HEM closed.

i then went to restart my computer, but when i hit restart, it went to desktop but didn't restart. i tried again, and a third time. i then tried to use ctrl+alt+del, and that didn't work, so i cut the power.

upon restart, when i attempt to start HEM it immediately gives me this error message, and asks to send a report and all of that:

AppName: holdemmanager.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: holdemmanager.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 003a91ab

and upon a further restart, HEM won't open. i used spybot search and destroy (and use symantec besides) and it didn't turn up anything.

what should i do? thank you for your time!

does the lack of response indicate 1. that this issue is taking some consideration; 2. that there is a major flaw in my original post; or 3. i am likely not going to be able to fix this and will have to get away from HEM?

i really love this program, but every hour i wait to get it fixed it is serious money down the drain and i will have to seek an alternative pretty shortly if i can't get some support.

Hi,

Sorry about the delay, but every question is answered asap. It takes generally maximum 24 hours. If you have the chance to have a member of the Support online, your questions will be answered very fastly (sometimes in minutes). I don't now what happens with your question, but be sure it's not voluntary.

First, update your HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.04beta.exe

Do it works?

If not, uninstall completely HM:
1) Make a backup of "Config" in a safe location
2) Export your HUDs via "HUD Options => Player Preferences"
3) Uninstall HM via the Control Panel
4) Go to Program Files and delete the RVG Software directory
5) Reboot your computer
6) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/holdemmanager.zip
7) Upload HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/HmUpdate1.06.04beta.exe
8) Test if it works
9) Overwrite the backuped holdemmanager.config in the new Config directory to recover your settings
10) Import your HUDs

Does it works?
