Hi!

Could you advise me which laptop should i buy, that will be strong enough for masstabling with HM HUD?
What should i look for when buying it? i7, how much RAM, which graphic card...
Is external SDD neccessary?

Is it better to buy a laptop with 160 GB SSD, but with 1600x900 resolution,
or a laptop with 1920x1080 (or maybe 1920 x 1200) but without SSD?
Not one of the HD laptops has SSD...

This might sound stupid, but with the higher resolution you could fit more tables on the screen, play easier in tiled mode? Is this true?

Thank You

Hello,

its prety hard to recommend something to you, without knowing your budged.

I can recommend this laptop:

HP dv7-4102sg
HP Pavilion dv7-4102sg Entertainment Notebook PC Product Specifications - HP Customer Care (United States - English) (http://search.hp.com/redirect.html?type=REG&qt=dv7-4102sg&url=http%3A//h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document%3Fdocname%3Dc02514135%26cc%3Dus%26dlc%3De n%26lc%3Den%26jumpid%3Dreg_R1002_USEN&pos=1)

I dont wont to mention all the pros and cons, but one very good pro about this one, is that it has two harddrives.
So basically you switch one HDD to an SSD, on which you have your Operating system, and main programs, and install Postgres and store all your data on the second drive.

My friend ( a massgrinding mid to highstakes Pokerprofessional) uses this laptop, after i recommended it to him, since about 7 months, and is more than happy with it.
(I myself have a MacBook pro, but thats more for prestige reasons ;) )
The RAM/CPU combination is very strong, and combined with the SSD for your Operating system this Laptop ist a rocket ! :)

The screen is 17", which is very good for playing 6+ (up to 12 withoud "eye-cancer")tables.

It has several "multimedia" gimmicks, like a built in subwoover etc...

Anyway, this laptop is perfect for any pokeerplayer who wants high performance, and a high-res screen, combined with a lot of Disk space. (like HEM databases need sometimes :) )

Kind Regards
Julius
