Hi,
the speed of my PT3-databases improved significantly (regarding import-speed) by using PT3s CLUSTER feature. I have read that clustering can also be done by pgadmin ( http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.1/static/sql-cluster.html ) since there is no feature like this in HM. Can I use CLUSTER in pgadmin without damaging my HM-DB? Which tablenames are important to cluster in pgadmin?
Edit: I came with that idea since ANALYZE does not seem to have any effect regarding my import-speed, defragging my drive would not help (I am using SSD...) and backing-up my whole "data"-folder to another drive and copying it back to my SSD causes higher import-speeds (almost as fast as on a fresh DB) for at least 300K hands.
