Hey guys,

Does anyone know how important HEM's red line (i.e. Luck Adjusted Winnings / $EV adjusted) is for SNGs?

Is this something that I should even be focussing on, or is it only useful for cash games?

(By the way, I'm using HEM version 1.11.05e - I'm aware of the posts on here saying that there was an error with this in version 1.11.05d.)

The reason that I ask is that since I started I've played 909 SNGs, and have virtually never had my green line above the red line. The vast majority of the time my green line is not even close to the red line, and it's actually getting further behind the more I play. No really, it is.

Is this just normal variance, plain old bad luck, or am I missing the point totally about the red line?

Thanks :)

It's not a line you should focus on. Though the two lines will meet up again, but it can take thousands/tens of thousands of STTs.

So it's not like in cash games where the two lines grow closer, usually within 10.000-20.000 hands.
