Just updated to the lastest Beta, FTP is importing hands but the HUD doesn't show up. Table Manager doesn't show my active tables either.

Update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_1.13.01_24Jun2013.exe

On what type of tables are you playing? Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compati bility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates. I'm on WinXP, I use Avira Antivir and Comodo Firewall and Windows and graphics drivers are fully updated, HUD works fine on Microgaming.

Which tables are you playing on? Cash? SNG/MTT? Rush? Rush On Demand? There are known problems on Full Tilt Rush Multi-Entry/On-Demand tourneys and I am not sure when/if those issues will be resolved at this time.

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Check the Site Import Time setting - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/434/Adjust+Site+Import+Times

Comodo (and Avira) is known to cause problems with our HUD so you might want to try uninstalling them temporarily to rule them out as the cause.

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/)

I did all of the above, but now it's not even importing, I see a bunch of 'incomplete hands' during the import.

I'm playing regular cash games. I had a similar problem a while ago at Microgaming, here's the link to that: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/413931-import-works-hud-doesnt-microgaming.html

I tried deleting the config files, that fixed it last time, but to no avail.

Full Tilt changed their hand history format in may so make sure the update was installed properly and is showing as 1.13.01 Internal when you start HM1.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email a sample of the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Yeah I switched back to the update from the 24th of June and it is importing fine now. The problem is the HUD doesn't show and the tables I'm sitting at don't appear in the Table Manager.

I honestly doubt it has something to do with the DB now that it is importing fine, it seems very similar to the problem I had previously at Microgaming so I think we should be troubleshooting in that direction.

Can you post a screenshot of your TableManager + one of the tables, when TableManager doesn't show the table?

Did you try the new database?

What security software are you running?

Your computer clock should match your current timestamp in the hands section in active sessions and reports.

if not, open Options - Settings - Adjust Site Import Times and make the adjustment.

The formula is Computer clock - Sessions time.

So if your computer clock is January 1 12:00 and your sessions show January 1 5:00, you would add 7 hours.

If your computer clock is behind the Sessions time, you would subtract.

Please send a screenshot of your sessions with computer clock while playing if there is another issue.

Please take and attach a screen shot - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

For 8/7/Vista, there is a built-in Snipping Tool in Start - Accessories.

1) Close HM and the Table Manager. Please update to the latest beta - http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
2) Export any custom HUD configs and Copy/Paste your \Config folder before deleting any files as a backup in HUD Options - Player Preferences.
3) Delete your existing HUD Positions files, so HM will rebuild them to default. The location is in 4)
4) Delete > \Holdem Manager\Config\pospref.txt, and pospref2.txt, and pospref4.txt.
5) Start HM< Auto Import, Open the Table Manager, and test on a single cash table.

I got rid of all my other security software and am now running the Microsoft Security Essentials as per your recommendations, with the exceptions for HM, FTP, etc.

I am not sure what exactly you mean by "active sessions and reports". The FTP clock is showing the same time as my system clock. In the 'Sessions' tab the Session Start and End Times are all correct.

I have created a new DB but that doesn't solve the problem. To make it extra clear, import IS working just fine. It's just the HUD that isn't, which seems to me to be related to the fact that the Table Manager doesn't show my tables.

The latest Beta that you linked to doesn't import FTP hands at all. The 24 June update DOES import correctly. The latest Beta says 'incomplete hands' during import. This is the second time you've linked to a version that you should know doesn't work with FTP currently. Are you even reading my posts?

Try the table finder - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/60/Configuring+Table+Finder+to+Show+HUD+

Make sure you follow the directions exactly.

Pick the table name in the table finder window to highlight it

If you don't see a table name listed, please drag the red X to the table and click OK.

Open the Table Finder again and the list should be populated with the table name now, so you can select it.

Select the table name to highlight it.

Left-click and drag the red X to that table window

Click OK, then Yes.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and post a screen shot of your desktop - Capture a Screen Shot of your Desktop or the Active Window in Windows (http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/general/ht/winscreenshot.htm)

with the following:

1) The table manager
2) The tables (including one with no stats)
3) The ...handhistory\screenname folder.
4) The "\rvg software\holdem manager\importing\hud data" folder AND the \appdata\roaming\hem data folder.

Please Zip these folders and email them, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Please make 3 and 4 the detailed view with the dates and file sizes etc.
