How to delete old database?

I have one database that i used for 8 months now. I would like to know is it possible to delete this entire database and start from new? If so, how do i do this? Also, would it be possible for me to create a new database now and keep the old database and thus keep a few databases ? And if i do this, would HEM load much faster this way with tourney results if i do this ?

If you have enough free space there is no need to delete the old database. Just connect to a new one. New empty databases are usually much faster than bigger old databases.
