View Full Version : all imported hands are duplicates :(

I imported 15k hands from a friend yesterday and since I can't import any new hands.

It says all hands are duplicates, but that's impossible.

I reinstalled HM and got the latest version.
My auto import had only one folder configured (the exact folder in which the new hands are written by the room).

HM sees all hands as duplicated and that's why I can't import any new hands. So, no hud and no data. :(

Any ideas how I can fix this?
(start a new sql database mayb?)

Is your auto-import correctly configured? And is it archiving files?

HM sees the new hands (table manager knows which table I'm playing on), but doesn't do anything with the hh's because it thinks that he already imported them (or something like that).

"And is it archiving files?"
How can I check that? (gutfeeling, no)

When you configure your auto-import folders, you have a little box to check if you want that your file are moved from the pokerroom HHs directory to another folder. I say that because it seems that you have 44 files in your pokerroom HHs folder.

Yeah I got it on. Every time I start HM it does that* the first time (since yesterday). After HM fails ('cause of the duplicate files) it only (tries to) imports the new hands I've played.
HM just doesn't move them.

*edit, that = trying to import all the hands

By the way,

Have you auto-import functioned one time? Not the "Import from Folder".

Both the same problem.

Please create a new database http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=146 and try again, it looks like a corrupt database so you might need to export and reimport your hands http://www.holdemmanager.net/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=173 to the new database if so
