View Full Version : HEM won't start after hard reboot

My laptop screen froze during a STT set, and I had to resort to a hard reboot otherwise I would have lost the whole set of buyins. Everything else started up OK after the reboot, except for HEM. I've enclosed a screenshot of the error messages I get.

If I click OK on the first one, it brings up the second. If I click quit, it quits, but if I click continue, it seems as though it is trying to log me in, but it just sticks on the third one (indefinitely, only way to close it is with task manager) and doesn't open HEM.

Help please.

update to http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Hm_1.11.06_Internal.exe

If you get the same .net error:
please reinstall your Microsoft .NET Framework:

1) Run http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2) Install this one: http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe

Thanks for getting back to me.

I did the update, no change.

I ran the clean up and installed the new one, no change.

I rebooted, no change.

I downloaded the HEM update again just to be sure, no change.

Won't open at all, what's next please?

Reinstall HM using the 93 mb full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe

Also manually run a Windows Update to check if there are any recommended/important updates... and also install non-important .net framework updates

Downloaded the full version and it seems OK, although I did have to click "ignore" a couple of times as it didn't seem entirely happy. Hopefully will work though, thanks for your speedy response.
