View Full Version : HM1 doesn't import all hands from Svenska Spell (Boss Media software).

Hey,

After the new Svenska Spel update, HM is missing hands when importing. They probably changed the format or something since it's missing more than 50% of the hands. I've tried the latest HM1 version and also the newest beta-version.

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

Please zip and email the original hand history and tournament summaries (for Stars, FTP, and Pacific) files from c:/hmarchive and/or c:\hm2archive

files are zipped by right clicking - send to - compressed folder

For multiple files, copy to a folder, then zip them.

I've tried to make a new database and the same problem existed.

So I have now sent u the hand histories to the email.

This is a known issue.

I do not have an ETA on the timeline for this being fixed.

I have added your email to the list to be notified when it is resolved.

The internal # for future reference is 7025

They were supposed to have switched back to the old HH format. Did you update your ipoker software?

This is very annoying. From what I hear it works with HM/OM2 but I don't really feel like upgrading my HM1 pro combo to OM2 just for this fix.

when will you fix this problem? I still get import errors and I have the newest version of HM1.

If some are still not importing, I do not have an ETA for HM1. We can do a trial for HM2. Please email support@holdemmanager.com from your registered email.

There's still hands missing when HM1 imports Boss Media hand histories.

It's been almost a year since this first happened..


Is this problem still being worked on?

Is this problem (confirmed!) fixed in HM2?

The bugticket on this issue was HM-7025. The bug has been fixed for HM2 only.

I don't really know what that means, so I'll just repeat my first question:

Is the HM1 problem still being worked on?

That's good to hear. So there is no active 'bugticket' with regards to the problem in HM2 anymore?


Probably time to upgrade anyway.

But I'll check the forums for current HM2 - Boss Media incompatibilities first...

There is no ticket on this issue for HM1.

I could write one up, but it will never be fixed anymore for HM1. It's time to upgrade to HM2.
