I bought a new computer – Windows 7. I have used Holdemmanager a few times (on this new computer), but now I can’t start it anymore. I get an error message (see attachment) and then after I click OK I get to see HM for half a second and then it closes again.

Message ERROR 42P07: relationa "allinsituations" already exist.

I re-installed but it didn’t work.

Could you help me?

Looks like your database is messed up, but since HM loads the last database automatically we need to stop it autoloading that database so you can create a new one.

Go to C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager and open DBcontrolpanel.exe

That should bring you to the database window and instead of starting the old database click "Create New Database" and start that one.

Your old database looks beyond repair so you will need to re-import your C:/HMarchive file to try and recover your hands.

Can you tell me if this would work as well to the problem you describe above?

Delete corrupt database (laptop). Then back up HM on my other cpu (desktop) (everything is working good on that one). Then restore HM on laptop utilizing the back up I made from desktop, selecting the overwrite option.
