I can't enter to the program because they say that I need to download the .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack.
When I try to install it, the setup.exe fails and cancell the installation.
[01/20/11,13:17:15] Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 (CBS): [2] Error: Installation failed for component Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 (CBS). MSI returned error code 14101
[01/20/11,13:18:09] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0SP1 (CBS) is not installed.
Thanks!

Uninstall your current NetFramework version with this tool: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
and download the "big" installer (230 MB)
http://download.microsoft.com/download/2/0/e/20e90413-712f-438c-988e-fdaa79a8ac3d/dotnetfx35.exe
and run it

I do it, when I run the HM:
-Please note that all versions of Holdem Manager require the Microsoft .Net Framework Version 3.5 Service Pack 1
Click on OK to go to the Microsoft Download page.
Thanks.

Is Vista updated to Service Pack 2?
If you manually run a Windows Update, does it find any non-critical .net framework (4.0) updates it can install?

How can I know the first question?
If I manually run Windows Update I only have the update of .net framework 3.5

Go to control panel--> system
And it should display Windows Vista Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or Windows Vista Service Pack 2.
If you manually run a Windows Update, there is a chance it wants to install dozens of updates HoldemManager needs, for example: VC++ or .net framework related. (these are updates that are normally installed automatically by Windows)

Service Pack 1
When I ran Windows Update there are 1 important update (.NET Framework 3.5 that I can't install) and other optionally updates

Download Vista Service Pack 2 from Microsoft Corporation (http://www.microsoft.com) (just google "Download Vista Service Pack 2")
Afterwards
-reboot
-run another Windows Update
-install ALL updates (so both important/critical... as the other updates)
-reboot (and reboot checking for updates--> rebooting--> until all updates are installed)

All do it and still not working.. Now I don't have any new update to install but the HM redirects me to the web to download and install .NET Framework 3.5
