I havent been playing poker for a few weeks. In the mean time, i've installed a new computer, Windows 7. Here is a list of what went wrong:

1) Restoring the database
I followed the instructions while creating the backup-file on my computer before I formatted it. Then I've waited some time, installed Windows 7, installed Holdem Manager 1.11.05e
I restored the database. ( the restore ended with the message "178 errors ignored" or something. )

Started up Holdem Manager, but none of my previous hands of the past year could be seen. It looked as if i had an empty database. Well, i didn't think it was worth all the trouble so I haven't done anything about that.

2) Playing some poker, and missing lots of hands
Today I played a session at PokerStars of 574 hands on 5 NL Cash tables ( according to PokerStars ), while Hold'em Manager only says i've played 394 hands this session. That's a gap of about 180 missing hands, not a small gap.

3) EV doesn't make sense
It only gets stranger. For this session, these 394 hands i played, it displays a +EV of $3533.09
That's quite a lot of money for 5 NL. Too bad that my real winnings are a 6.21 $ loss according to the session and my calculations.

Now, the solve:
What do you advice me to do now? Something is wrong with either my installation, my database, my computer, or the 1.11.05e version.
I don't want to worry about the Restoring of my old database, i can live with that cause i play high volumes anyway so i'll get a good filled database within a month again.

Should I just remove everything from my computer ( Hold'em Manager + PostGreSQL ) ? If so, which Hold'em Manager version is trustable to install AND working perfectly with the current version of PokerStars ?

Your database is corrupt and did not restore properly. You will need to create a new database and import your original hands. If you still have access to the original database I suggest you export everything manually and/or copy your old C:\HMArchive folder where HM moved the auto imported original hands.

If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

Export your Hand Histories

Export Your Notes

Export Your Bonuses and Rakeback – Options > Rakeback & Bonuses http://faq.holdemmanager.com/images/rakeback-bonuses-01.jpg

Export any tourney summaries by selecting all your tournaments in the Data View Sub-Tab of the Tourney > Results Menu and choose Export Tourney Results and summaries

Then can you create a new database FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Create / Delete Database (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database)

Finally reimport all your hands/notes/summaries into the new database
