DB Migrate

Hi,
I have installed postgres 9.0 and want to migrate my HEM Db to that. Can someone explain the procedure? Is there any documentation explaining what to do?

Did you make a backup of the database with HM2 of your 8.4 database? You should be able to restore it into 9.0 but if there are any problems during the Restore process your only other option will be to recreate it manually by importing the original hands. Once the hands are imported you should be able to restore the backup file and skip the database to restore the player/hand notes, etc if you had them in your previous database.

Yeah, I think I've sorted it. I thought about it - looked at the HEM wizard - and then took a backup off the old db before connecting to the new one and restoring.

I'm now in the process of validating the restore. Thanks for the info though. If I have issues or questions I'll come back to you.
