Hello

I have this problem: the HM simply does not start.

There was something wrong with my PC it freezed totally and there was nothing I could do to restart it ot turn it off but use button on my PC.
After that the HM simply does not start. Only the initial picture I can
see ( Holdem Manager the art + scinece of winning poker ). Nothing else happens no matter how much I wait.
I tried to uninstall and the installed again the HM but still the same problem.

I had also a problem with Table ninja but not it is working fine.
It was written there is a problem with the Microsoft Net Framework and that I have to set my Table theme (because it was set to none ). But after I restarted my computer I changed the Table theme the TAble ninja is working ok now.

Do you think the Microsoft Net Framework could be the problem ?
Do you have any suggestions how to fix the problem with HM ?

Does Ninja work with one theme and not another? What is the theme with which it does not work?

Step 1 – Restore Default Settings:
First try restoring your default settings, often some settings files can become corrupt and cause these issues:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/2511/Create+a+Backup+and+restore+default+settings

Step 2 – Set files to run as administrator
1 - Go to C:\Program Files\Holdem Manager 2 (Program Files (x86) for the 64bit version)
2 - Right click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3 - Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an “Administrator"
4 - Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for HudFuncsApp.exe and tablescannerdllloader.exe

If this option is greyed out it is because the UAC is disabled.
Enable UAC - Disable User Account Control (UAC) the Easy Way on Win 7 or Vista (http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/disable-user-account-control-uac-the-easy-way-on-windows-vista/)
Reboot and complete Step 3 and 4.
UAC can be turned off again if desired.

Step 3 – Update Windows
Often the issue can be caused by a conflict with another program or utility on your PC. Windows may have released an update to fix this issue. See here for details on how to run windows update.
Microsoft Windows Update (http://www.update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/thanks.aspx?ln=en&&thankspage=5)

Step 4 – Uninstall and reinstall HM2 with Revo uninstaller:
Other times critical system files may not have been installed on previous updates and it can also cause these types of errors or in some cases antiviruses may have removed files that it mistook for unsafe. Doing a revo uninstall also removes old registry file information which might have become corrupt. You can download the free version here: Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems (http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html) and there is a useful tutorial how to use it here:
How To Use Revo Uninstaller To Completely Uninstall Programs (http://www.guidingtech.com/457/revo-uninstaller/)

Uninstall Holdem Manager 2 via Revo unistaller and then reinstall this version:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_2_Setup.exe

Please add this file to your firewall and antivirus exceptions and run it as Administrator.

Step 5 – Add exceptions to firewall
Some firewalls detect HM2 as a threat because of the way it interacts with different poker software, as a consequence they can block HM accessing files it needs to and in turn cause a crash. Please follow the instructions in the FAQ carefully.
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/1011/Software+Security+Problems+943irewall

Step 6: Set correct permissions on files and folders HM2 use
Please follow the instructions in this FAQ: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/2561/Set+Correct+Permissions+on+files+and+folders+HM2+u se

Hello

Thank you for your answer

The Table ninja is fine it is working.

But the HM still does not work I tried all the steps you've advised me to do but still the same problem.
The HM does not start.
I can only see the picture " Holdem manager the art + science of winning poker " and that's it nothing else happens no matter how long I wat .

Do you think it can have something to do with Microsoft netFramework ?
Because when the Table ninja did not started there was a message: there is a problem with Microsoft netFramework saying to quit the Table ninja or ignore the error and continue.

Do you have any suggestions ?

Update HM2 to build 7758 from this thread: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/407161-full-tilt-poker-may-13th-update-alpha-release-feedback-thread-4.html#post1843071

Start HM2--> if it won't open, wait for 2 minutes, and please sent your full log.txt file, located in the following folder to hm2support@holdemmanager.com:

Windows 7: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\

Yeah

Thank you Patvs for your help the update did the job. I wan to thank and the other guys that tried to help me as well.

So the HM is working now. However I lost some of my info. The last back up file I had is from 06.05.2013
So I am missing the info from 06.05.2013 up to 25.05.2013.
Is there a way to restore somehow this info ?
There was no way for me to make a back up file because I couldn't even start the HM

Best regards

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem, describe exactly what you were doing, and attach your log.txt file -
