Hi, been using hm2 for years now but all of a sudden (maybe because i have a new laptop thats about 30 days old) i cannot register with my product key and im being told
Errors while registering with the Server
Could not register license
Could not register with the server
Unable to connect with the remote server, A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time or host has failed to respond.

Im on windows 8 so maybe thats the problem? Can someone please point me in the right direction asap?

This is so annoying wtf! Same problem here and a friend is also having this issue. I wanted to start HEM2 today suddenly "0 days of trial enter key" ->

Having a lot problems lately also with the update it didnt start up somethimes, what is going on, please fix this fast!

Ok glad its not just me! I assumed it had something to do with the fact i am on windows 8 but maybe not. I just sent the email to support so will let you know if i hear via email :)

We reset the server, that should take care of the issue, If you continue to have registration issues, please send your Log.txt file from the C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\ folder to hm2support@holdemmanager.com. If you are using XP you will have to look in the C:\Documents and Settings\YourName\Application Data\HoldemManager folder. If Windows is hiding known file extensions, the file will simply be called 'log'.

If you cant see the AppData folder, enable the option to see Hidden Files and disable "Hide System Protected Files" first.

So the restart didnt work as everyone is having the same problem, my log has also been sent. Hoping for a speedy resolution!

Thanks guys, we have enough logs now, were working hard to resolve this quickly and ill keep you updated as soon as i get more info

Can you give out some infos?? How much longer can we expect to wait?? If its 1-3 hours longer I can wait, if it takes over 10h I would rather do sth else now then wait or buy pokertracker!

The problem actually resolved itself from what we can tell. One of our techs replied to your email with specific instructions based on your log files.

I am now having that same problem on one of my Windows 7 PCs. On my other PC with the same Windows version and updates it's working, but not on this one. What can be done? Quite annoying really :/

Did you get a microsoft .net framework 4.5.1 update recently on one or both machines?

If you continue to have registration issues, please send your Reg.log and log.txt files as explained in the last step.

Sorry, now it's working again. It seemed to be a problem with my router. I added a blacklist the other day, and somehow the license server couldn't be reached afterwards, even though no HM addresses were in that blacklist. Strange thing that it worked on my laptop, which is used on the same router, same network etc.?!

Anyway, it seems to be working now after deactivating the "child protection" settings in my router. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: Ah, nevermind, it wasn't activated for the laptop!
