Need some help with configuring a new laptop that is optimised for Holdem Manager with TableNinja and 6-tabling. The most important piece is the extra 80GB SSD HDD that I want to add in the second HDD slot for the OS, HEM and
PostgresSQL
Currently I am favoring this notebook with Intel i5 quad-core, 4GB of RAM and nVidia GT 335M graphics adapter
ASUS N73JN-TY035V Notebook, Intel® Core? i5-520M (2.4GHz), 17.3"HD+ TFT, 4GB RAM, 640 GB (320GBx2) HDD, Blu-Ray Combo, 64bit Window 7 Home Premium: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories (http://www.amazon.co.uk/N73JN-TY035V-Notebook-i5-520M-320GBx2-Blu-Ray/dp/B003R78CYO/ref=sr_1_3?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1294408778&sr=1-3)
but instead of 2x320GB HDDs, I can order it in my shop with a single 500GB HDD and the second slot left empty. In the empty HDD slot I would add the Intel X25-M Postville with 80GB and use it exclusively for OS, HEM and SQL. [EDIT]Just noticed that the OCZ Vertex 2 with 120GB isn't that expensive anymore. Would give me 40GB more for only little extra cost. Probably going to order this instead of the Intel X-25
I don't want to use 2 SSD HDs, because I also want some storage space for movies and stuff on the main HDD.
What do you think about this setup? Where could be a possible performance bottleneck that I didn't think of?
