Hi, I've uploaded a video to try and show the problem, its been processing for like hour, hopefully be up soon.
LayoutError - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-B88JJ1UGA0&feature=youtu.be)

I'll try to explain:
Load up TN2. Go to setup/edit layout option.
Chhoose 'custom' layout.
Add slots, position them etc (did this for 30 screens, then realised bug at end. Frustrating to say least.)
Click 'set default' and 'use now'. Close custom layout pop up box.
Aaand its forgotten the layout, and when you then go to edit the custom layout, it simply has all the tables (30 in my case) stacked in top right corner of monitor one. Not sure if this is to do with using 2 monitors and trying to set it up on the right or what?
Tried it 2/3 times and it repeats same thing, no matter what position once you close the custom layout manager it just stacks them to top left corner.
Also wanted to ask, if you go to 'layout editor' and try to edit 'tile' should there only be one table showing up, and no option to add others? I presumed you'd be able to add as many tables as possible here, but maybe it does it by default?

I guess this happens because TN2 in NOT running "as admin". And this fact prevents it to save settings.
But: you can manually edit your layout, it is in file (if it is - i.e. if TN has saved it)
%AppData%\TableNinja.v2\keys_user.txt

It is running in admin mode. Could it be to do with trying to set the layout up on the second monitor?

Hi,

Please do the following

Go to the settings tab in TN2 > click on send logs to Table Ninja

Once you do this it will create a zipped file with all the settings/logs, Please note the location the files are being saved to.

Once you do this attach the zipped file to an email and send it to us so we can review it for any errors.

Email support@tableninja.com

Thanks

I have the exact same problem but need to resolve other issues first. TN2 has been really frustrating experience for now.

Agree completely so far. Trying to stay patient, but currently most of the features seem to not work or be very buggy.
Hoping by reporting the stuff that doesn't work they can be fixed pretty swiftly though.

I am sorry you are having problems we are doing our best to get any issues that are reported fixed as quickly as possible, There has being 5 releases the past 6 days so make sure you have the latest version by going to the update tab > check for updates.

If you do come across any issues then please report them to us and along with the log files. To send the logs go to the setup tab > send logs to Table Ninja. along with your forum name and a link to this thread or give a brief description in the email of what isn't working.

Also please make sure you are doing the following

If it is not working at all it is most likely caused by one of the following

- Not running as admin please right click on the TN2 icon on your desktop > Properties > compatibility > tick run as admin

- UAC enabled go to the windows start icon > type in the search box UAC ( user account control ) click this > then disable UAC

- Aero windows based theme not selected go to the windows start icon > in the search type windows themes > change windows themes > select an Aero based theme

Note: UAC enabled causes issues in isolated cases we are currently working on this so this is just a temporary solution

Thanks

I can not reproduce this. Have 2 different Custom layouts, both work OK and if I set one to use - TN uses it.

I'm having the exact same problem. Also have 2 screens, using a laptop plus a monitor, although don't think thats part of the problem because i only set my tables on one of the screens. Using windows 7 home premium 64bit.

Thanks.

I think we need TV session. I do not have 2 monitors to try to reproduce this, so best thing will be to do "in place".
Please email date\time suitable for you.

For all other guys: if\when we will find a solution in this TV session, it will be published here.
