View Full Version : postgres installation tilting me

I've followed the install instructions here

step 8 does not work for me, the only way I can get it to install is by unticking initialise database cluster. otherwise error messages come up.

even when I do it this way I cant get it to work in HEM.

I have tried uninstalling postgres and trying again but that does nothing.( I also cannot seem to delete the folder even after spending hours messing with vista's security)

you need to delete the "data" folder in c:\program files\postgresql\8.x

yes it was.

nvm I got this bad boy going now :cool: :)

command prompt -> net user administrator /active:yes

then delete folder.
then reinstall postgres

thanks anyways for the help
