This is fixed in 1.11.05e: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

For the hands in the database to be corrected you need to delete them via right mouse key in the hands view, rename the handhistory files from your archive (default c:\hmarchive) and reimport them via import file or import from folder.

OK so delete HH's within HM from ???? Nov1 - now ...

I understand where the HHarchives are so I know where to imprt from ... however I don't understand exactly what I'm renaming.... and why....

Yes: delete HH's within HM from ???? Nov1 - now ...

And reimport them from your archive folder.

HM sometimes doesn't want to import hands from your archive (because it won't import files it has already imported before). So if it won't import them, either rename the folder, or move the hands to another folder. That will enable you to import them.

OK that's what I thought you meant but wanted to verify before I corrupted my entire database ;-)

and if I get this error in the middle of deleting hands

A timeout has occurred. If you were establishing a connection increase Timeout Value in Connection String. If you were executing a command, increate the CommandTimeoue value in Connectionstring or in your NpgsqkCommand object.

Got this twice ... on the third time I get the error but then tells me the hands have been deleted and they haven't.

FYI I'm deleting about 26k hands at a time

Sometimes it helps to delete smaller amounts of hands when this error comes up.
There is nothing we can do about it - it comes directly from the postgresql database server.

I seem to get it with anything over 3k hands. It's taking 20 min to delete 3k hands .... this is ridiculous.

Creating a NEW database--> reimporting ALL your hands might be faster/easier.
