Color to appear in notes corrupted?

Hi guys,

just purchased my license and wanted to go ahead testing the color to appear in notes. However, when I tried to chose from the colors offered for Stars I only find two, black and yellow. Is that normal?

It gets the colors from your notes file which comes from stars. If you open stars and take a note one someone, what colors do you have available in that drop down?

I have tried the same using PokerStars note file 'notes.[mypokerstarsname].xml' which looks like

The first one is definitely corrupted. I am wondering if that was caused by NC color coding or some other way. Have you ever ran the NC color coding process? The second one seems like it should work. If possible, please email the full file to support@notecaddy.com

I have sent the file to the requested address. I ran the NC color coding process ('Configure Color Coding Options') and tried it with both files.

I am curious to hear from the team.

Now, I got rid off this issue without knowing how but another one came up. All/Most players are automatically assigned the yellow label which I wanted to use to mark estimated tags ("eTag").

When I test the color definition with a player that was yellow labelled as an eTag I get this result:

OUTPUT: FAIL - reason: vpip too big

However, the player is marked yellow. Stars tells me the player was modified 1970/01/01 and there is no other color definition that would also mark players yellow.

I also made sure 'Overwrite user selected colors...' is checked at Color Settings. I have no idea why I would not work :-(

He's almost certainly yellow because you took a note on him. Stars makes everyone yellow when you do that. Selecting overwrite won't change the color unless he qualifies for a different color. If he qualifies for none he stays yellow. I recommend not using that color so it's clearer.

Oh, interesting! But then, why can't I fix it with another label like e.g. 'known' with a black mark. The player would remain yellow although it says

That shouldn't happen. There is something else going on like the wrong notes file entered into NC or some configuration set. It's impossible to know without a log but with a log it is very easy.
