recieving this when i try to start hem

Go to C:/Program Files/RVGSoftware/HoldemManager/Config folder and make a backup of prefs.xml and then close Holdem Manager and delete the original prefs.xml and restart HM and it should create a new default prefs.xml file

how do i make a backup of a folder...also theres prefs, prefs.xml_1.04.13, and prefs.xml_1.05.08


which one would you backup?

i just made a copy of the prefs.xml file and deleted the old one and restarted HEM and im still getting the same error message. Any ideas?

Are you sure you deleted the correct file? If you have "Hide known file extensions" activated in the explorer its just displayed as prefs.

And please delete the files pospref.txt, pospref2.txt and pospref4.txt too.

deff deleted the correct file...i just deleted those previous files and the problem is still occuring. Is it possible to do a teamviewer session sometime today. I really need my holdem manager!

Please uninstall HEM using Revo Uninstaller: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Using Revo Uninstaller (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/126/Using+Revo+Uninstaller+)

After completion please reboot your computer and download and install the full installer from our homepage. Please make sure that the postgresql option is disabled during the installation.
