Nice stuff but I assume it only works on FTP and not stars?

This is useful stuff for sure but I would probably lower the price quite significantly. After all, it takes around 2 secs per player to give them a color while you playing.

It works with PokerStars as well, and adding support for Party Poker this month.

Yes, it does only take a few seconds... but people like me usually put it off :p I'll keep the price change in mind when I get the new version out.

I just bought it, and I do like it alot. Especially with my table mods, being able to color code in FT is great. Have a question for you, I like to color code short stackers, but since this uses DB info, im not sure there is anyway to figure out how to color code people who play with smaller stacks.

Any ideas we can brain storm here? Are there stats common to SSers that we can think of that wouldnt be in common with say regs

Thanks :)

I have thought of this in the past and the best way would be to look at each HH of the player in question and have a stat that is Average Stack Size (in BB).

The downside of this is that it will make the queries run much slower as it will not be able to use the monthly stats tables anymore. Of course I can make the switch to slower method only if the stat is specified, so you can decide if you want it or not.

How does that sound?

EDIT:

As for stats, I think most SSers are nits that want to get it in PF or on the flop. So they will have a low VPIP and PFR and be aggressive on the flop.

It may be worth a try, atleast for initial scanning, and then be able to turn that stat off. For upkeep I will just add a note in SSers from now on so it doesnt change their color when rescanning.

or how about this? Is there a way (since i backed up my notes I can just restore and try this again) to take anyone with a certain Color and add a note. Lets say all my purple ones are SSer so it adds a note to say hes a SSer. Then you can add that filter with SSer in there so next time it isnt changed. As you find new SSers you just add that note to their file so next time they get changed to purple.

Orrrrr maybe even easier is to add instead of ignore all current codes, you can make it so you can select it to ignore certain color codes you already have coded. So it wil ignore all purples for instance.

Just brain storming here as a DB with 200k players could take forever to do with the hand by hand scan

Sorry I was thinking again. It would be as simple as adding an ignore color option. If it ignores all my purples then it wont change them. Then if I change someone to purple it will ignore them on the next scan again. I think this is probably the easiest way. Some people like to give SSers multiple colors (for instance some are better than others) so maybe a way to add multiple ignores. And by this logic you could also have a way to scan just the ignore group too. I hope this makes sense, so I will lay out the example and you tell me if its easier to do.

Ok I code all my SSers Purple, so we ignore all purple when scanning. But lets say now we'd like to know which purples are good and which are bad. So now we can scan just the purples for winrates and make the good ones dark purple.

Tell me if this sounds easier as I think it does.
