Have had problem with HEM2 for a while and decided to reinstall it. Uninstalled both HEM2 and postgress and than reinstalled HEM2 w postgress.

The setup wizard just keeps running when creating db
first try ran for 20m+ than killed the process
next try let run for like 15m+ than killed the process
(also just just keep running btw when i click on cancel creating the db, why killed the hem process from taskmanager)

Now posting in hope some1 magically knows what the problem is.

When installing HM2 with the full installer only install HoldemManager (so de-select PostgreSQL)
Update HM2 to: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/405011-2-0-0-7740-beta-release-feedback-thread-30th-april.html#post1822901

Install PostgreSQL manually with the installer from PostgreSQL: The world's most advanced open source database (http://www.postgresql.org).
If 8.4.x won't install, try installing 9.2.x to port 5433.
Add postgres.exe to the exceptions list of your Windows Firewall and antivirus program.

I renamed the DB that was gonna be created and it worked, used the default name holdemmanager2 or whatever name it was. After renamed database it got done in a sec and now working, hopefully will be no problem after this.
