Downloaded the newest version of HEM(1.11.05e) and the hud won't work now. When I load up some tables, tablemanager will pop up and show the tables but the hud won't pop up. Hands are importing fine and hud worked fine till I downloaded this latest version. Don't know what to do to fix it.

Can I go back to 1 of the older versions?

Nevermind. Went back to version 1.11.05d and everything works fine now.

On which site are you playing?

You can always downgrade @ FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Download Links For Past Builds (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/426/Download+Links+For+Past+Builds)

Play on stars. Its doing the same thing with version 1.11.05d. And for some reason when I start up HEM a small window pops up and says please wait while windows configures HEM.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

There are no HM issues with PokerStars with the latest version. (1.11.05e)
So if you still have issues, either create a NEW database, or reinstall HM using the 93 mb full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe

I have vista and use Norton. I thought I had them set as "run as admin" so don't know what changed and everything worked fine till I updated to the latest version. Trying to navigate to HEM through windows explorer but can't find it.

It's installed in C:/Program Files/RVG Software/HoldemManager by default
(or C:/Program Files (x86)/RVG Software/HoldemManager

When I right click and select properties I don't see anywhere where I can select "run as admin". I included a screen shot of what is poping up for me. How do I get it to run as admin with this pop up? I also have version 1.11.05c installed at the moment and it seems to be running fine. But when I install the latest update is when I have these problems.

Click on the HoldemManager folder.
In the folder you can find:

dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe

Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Ok, downloaded the latest version of HEM, 1.11.05e. Went into the folders you specified, HEMHud.exe and holdemmanager.exe was already selected to "run as admin", however dbcontrolpanel.exe was not selected to "run as admin" and it won't let me select it to do so. Here is a screen shot of it and don't know how to get it to let me select "run as admin".

Once I did this I loaded up 2 Stars cash game tables and launched HEM. Once I started playing some hands I started auto import. Once I started auto import table manager didn't even launch and obv no hud poped up. And yes table manager is selected to launch once auto import is started. Furthermore I got a popup from norton saying that "SONAR has detected and removed a security risk" and says that HEMHud.exe is the security risk and completly removes this file. It does not do this when I go back to version 1.11.05c but does do this with versions 1.11.05d and 05e. Don't know what the problem is. Thanks

Reinstall HM using the 93 mb full installer @ http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe

manually open hmhud.exe to see if it will launch (it should, even when HoldemManager is NOT running)

Run a manual Windows Update, install all updates (Vista--> Service Pack 2) and install the .net framework updates that will not be automatically updated by Vista.

In Control Panel--> Users--> User Account Control (UAC)--> turn off UAC if it was turned on and reboot.

And read: Norton: FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Software Security Problems (Firewall) (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/339/Software+Security+Problems+%28Firewall%29)
