Hi Guys,

I am planning to open a new poker site in about 6 month.

We are currently in the planning stage and thinking about front-end technology. We are building the entire software from scratch.

My question to you would be are there computer languages/technologies that make it easy for you to implement. What makes it hard/easy for you to integrate your hud.

I would like you to support my site as soon as possible and am looking for some of your input to make this smooth for your end (and hence increase my chances of you supporting my site).

My developers would like to use adobe air. Would that be a problem?

Thank you much

Phil

Phil,

Sounds like you have an exciting project!

1. Sites get HM2 support based on traffic. (pokerscout.com)
2. I don't believe Adobe Air will be an issue. As long as there is a unique window ID for EACH table open, we should be fine.
3. Follow the PokerStars or Full Tilt hand history format for easiest integration.

I glanced at a Game Developer magazine the other day and I saw a middle-ware solution for all casino games. That might be something to investigate to get something off the ground fast?

We wish you luck in your project.

FYI, we just added barriere support recently and they use adobe air so just to backup Brent's suggestion that it should not be a problem to use adobe air.

Thank you guys.

So I just ckecked out barriere and it looks pretty good. I did not even know they existed.

I will make sure we stick to stars/tilt hh standards.
