getting an error msg after startup

A few minutes after I start up hem1, I get a Microsoft .NET Framework error message. It's in Finnish but I'll copy the text anyway. I'm running 1.13.01 Internal version, haven't had any problems for a year or so.

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

I am getting this exact problem. I have gone through this thread and tried every suggestion -- updating HEM, windows, drivers. I have allowed HM and the HUD in my Firewall Program. UAC is off and everything is run by Admin.

It works now, I don't get the framework error and I can look at my sessions etc, it imports zoom hands no problem. Only thing now is I cant replay a hand to take notes.

Did you install the previous version using a full setup file (100mb+) or an older update file (60 - 70mb)?? If you installed using the smaller update file instead of the full setup file that could explain your problems. On our FAQs we post links to previous versions but those are update/rollback files designed to update your previously installed version and not full setup files designed for first time installation. If you installed using a patch file please uninstall and delete all/both versions of HM1 and download the full setup file from our downloads page and reinstall. Then you can update or rollback as needed to see if it helps.

1) Export any custom HUD configs individually, make a backup of your C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\Config folder, and any other important files. If you have custom filters/reports/stats, just copy the entire \holdem manager folder before uninstalling.
2) Uninstall HM with Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall, Leftovers Uninstaller (http://www.revouninstaller.com) using the Deep setting. You do not need to uninstall PostgreSQL.
3) If given the option, on the 2 following screens of Revo, remove any registry entries and leftover files. If you have Holdem Manager 2 installed do not delete any folders in C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager. If Windows XP - C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\HoldemManager.
4) Reboot your computer
5) Install the complete setup of HM: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe. You should un-check the PostgreSQL Option when running the combo installer.
6) Test if it for a while and see if it works

No, reinstalling HM1 as described will not affect your postgresql database as long as you make sure to uncheck the postgresql option when installing as described above. Once you have reinstalled HM1 you can update to the latest HM1 patch from this link, but make sure the initial installation is done with the larger file linked in my previous post - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/373771-latest-internal-beta-hm1-update.html

The notes are part of the postgresql database so if the database remains intact the notes should as well. If you want to make sure they are backed up you can export them from the Options > Notes menu.
