I'm on Windows8 with HEM 1.13.01. Every time I select a SnG from the Results>Data View list HEM says "not responding". Also every time I "change" player's name by "search Player" option from the "Change" drop down. I then enter the name of my opponent and select it, I get a "Not Responding" as well. I looked at cpu usage, it's only around 28% cpu usage and only 60MB memory usage for HEM. I have 8GB memory in my desktop. What do you think the problem is? I also get at lot PokerStars crashes when I play above 12 tables as well. I think this might be the cause of it. Please help.

I asked this same question on 2p2 and support had me create a new database and I did. It didn't work. Same problem "Not Responding" every time. I also uninstalled HEM 1.13.01 and than installed 1.12.10b which is the current version I have but still have the same problem. This happens when I have HEM open by itself and no other programs open with it. Is there anything else I need to try? Please help.

Thanks

Not sure what may cause this, lets start with Anti-virus and Firewall: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/339/Software+Security+Problems+%28Firewall%29

Are you using our default postgresql version 8.4 or a custom installation?

I have Firewall turned off and no Anti-virus in my computer.

Yep I use the default postgresql version 8.4.

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

Make sure \holdem manager\holdemmanager.exe, hudfuncsapp.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager2 installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Also add exceptions to the windows firewall (turn it on!) for those files even if the firewall is turned off.
Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

I have HEM1 so I don't think there is a hudfuncsapp.exe file. I have all the required files run as administrator. I had to do this to make Zoom poker work. Is there any other things I need to try?

This is what I have curently. it looks like the table manager is one version older. is there a way to fix this?
I still have select player issue where it's 'not responding'.

Quoting our conversation from 2+2 so we don't duplicate our efforts. It is best if you post in one thread/forum or email chain so we don't waste your/our time suggesting things on this forum that have already been suggested elsewhere.

The Table Manager is always at least one version number behind the main program.

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights -

1) Go to C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager (Program Files (x86) if you have the 64bit version)
2) Right-click the HoldemManager.exe and choose "Properties".
3) Go to the Compatibility Tab and select "Run this program as an Administrator".
4) Do the same for HMImport.exe, HMHud.exe and DBControlPanel.exe

Make sure you have setup your client to save hands and that HM is importing them - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/categories/Frequently+Asked+Questions/Installation+%26+Setup/Poker+Clients/

I have both regular and zoom hud work so no problem importing at all. The only problem is I cannot select my own player to run reports and graphs.

Try to vacuum and reindex the database - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/88/Vacuum+Analyze+Database+

If you continue to have problems, try the following -

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

If none of that helps I am starting to run out of ideas. Did the database used to work fine in the past? Any new programs installed recently? Which Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

.

It's normal TableManager is one older version. 1.12.10c is the latest build for TableManager.
