HM2 running more and more slowly

As my database becomes large (now about 15G) ,HM2 is running more and more slowly.Now I even have to wait a long time to get it started!And when I play poker,sometimes it will just stop there,after about 30 secends it can run again.What can I do to improve my HM2?
