a question about making new notes

I have made some new definitions active.Then when I "create notes for unprocessed hands based on active definitions",will the notes be made for the new hands,or all the hands in my database?Bacause my database is quite big,I don't want to go around again.

The new definitions should have created pending tasks on your start panel. Running those will generate notes only for the new definitions
