How large is HEM with how many programmers assigned where? ie Development, debug, customer requested improvements etc.

While I am seriously impressed by the amount of things HEM does for the measly money I paid - perhaps that is the issue as it's way too cheap - they/you seem slow in upgrading or updating areas of the program. Bugs and Customer requests are sloooowww and lots seems to happen on the add on Apps. Perhaps this is a laymans misconception but it is how I see it and maybe others do too.

An example - Bodog handgrabber just seems to be left dangling in the wind with little information on when / if it will work when it's on the list of to do's.

Also on a personal point. Two additions PLEASE. Option for date change format and a simple section for manual live poker results, as many of us play in both areanas and keeping records in one place would be really nice.

Minor gripe tbh - in the vein of a Very good but could do better school report.

Hi,

Our developers share the workload and are not really specifically assigned to a certain task, although some do specialise in specific area's like the Hud or an app.

Were very much dedicated to improving our product and do try and release updates as quick as we can. As your probably aware a lot of development time is dedicated to keeping up with updates sites make which break HM or create bugs but were also still very commited to development.

Just take a look at the releases forums to see the amount of updates were releasing, whenever there is an update that makes a site unusable we do give extra priority to that and get an update out asap however there is a lot that goes on in the background to make an update, developers need to collaborate, produce the build, our tech support team then needs to test it provide feedback on any bugs found and get those checked in so it takes a bit of work and its usually a busy time when were preparing a new build.

The bodog issue is quite difficult, they basically removed the player actions from chat which broke every product that uses bodog not just Holdem Manager. We need more time to assess before we can make an announcement on that but as soon as i have more news well let you know.

It is also a regular problem that people are not happy their features request has not been added even after being on the request list for a long time. The thing is there is literally hundreds of things on that list so when we just add a couple at a time there is still tons of people who are waiting on their feature to be added that are understandably unhappy. Like i said though we are completely dedicated to keeping the standard very high but we dont usually discuss our future development plans in public as its competitive business, as soon as a new feature is planned we usually post a blog/web/forum announcement about it.

As I said you guys do a great job and I understand the priorty of keeping the product running when clients update their s/ware. Appreciate the long reply and the work you do.

Bodog's change stopped everyone except Poker Table Ratings and that was just for a day, but hand history reading is their core product................

One more vote for ability to change Date format and to add live poker record keeping as I can't find the old voting list.
