Hello, I have been trying to figure out how to successfully install Holdem Manager and PostgreSQL. First I used the combo installer and got the connection error during the PostgresSQL install, so, I went to PostgreSQL website and installed version 9. Everything went fine but when I try to import PokerStars hands in auto import I get import errors and nothing imports.

I tried deleting and making a new DB and nothing. I also uninstalled PostgreSQL and deleted the postgres user in cmd and reinstalled postgressql and still won't import.

Is it a database issue if I get import errors the Holdem Manager can't put the hands in the DB? Can't seem to figure out how to get it to work properly. Is it a permission issue? I reinstalled Holdem Manager too and deleted the folders after uninstall of both programs. I also uninstalled my antivirus and firewall and disabled UAC, windows firewall, and windows defender and tried to uninstall and reinstall still won't import hands and get import errors. How do I fix this?

Still trying to figure this out. Just tried this FAQ - Hold'em Manager Poker Tracking Software :: Software Security Problems (Firewall) (http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/339/Software+Security+Problems+(Firewall)) and set permissions to run as admin but still nothing.

This is my first time trying to set up Holdem Manager and I always get this error: http://d.imagehost.org/0599/import_error.jpg

So sorry to hear it is not functioning correctly. Try this version of postgres

http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Postgres_8.3.9-v1.0.7.exe

if this does not work, please zip up your HH and your gamehistory.dat file and send them to support@holdemmanager.com
