I've noticed that the NC definitions that i have made are stored in 2 folders. On C/ProgramFiles/HoldemManager2 and also in AppData/Roaming/Holdemmanager/Notecaddy definitions. There also seems to be a ton of back up folders in the NC definitions folder. I was wondering if they need sorting and putting in just one place. Is there any maintenance work i can do to get my NC working a little quicker. Will vacuuming the HM2 databse also help? My database has 150,000 hands in and the performance has slowed down quite a lot and its probably mainly to do with me not maintaining the software correctly. Any info or link to a manual will be great for this matter. thanks - John

They used to be stored in program files but that was moved to roaming. Therefore you can safely delete the ones in program files

Thanks for the assistance sreti. One last small thing. If i want to swap note definitions with a fellow poker player. Do we simply just swap the files and put them in the notecaddy defintions folder and then when we next open up NC the new file will automatically get run through the HM2 Database?

Not exactly. The files do need to be swapped but it's much better to do it this way How to import definitions - Assaultware Wiki (http://wiki.assaultware.com/How-to-import-definitions.ashx)
