I have found some of my PKR hands are not importing into HEM. I have tried the standard copy and paste HH file to somewhere else and try to re-import but it comes up with all duplicated hands, but 1 import error, and was wondering if this is part of my missing hands (I know some are missing cause 1 of them is when i got stacked :))

What should i do now?

Thanks

As a further point, i just went and found a hand i knew was missing, copied it on its own to a seperate .txt, and tried to import that, and it said it was a duplicate hand, but it definatly isnt showing up in my session.

Hmmm???

Are you using 1.11.05d? http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

Does it work if you create a new database for a test? Can you import the hands into this database?

Yes im using the latest version. Ive created a new database and imported the files, and its has imported some of the missing hands, but missed others.

On that day i played 2 Sessions and i know these numbers are correct.

Session 1: 745 Hands
Session 2: 343 Hands

In my main database the following number of hands are imported

Session 1: 686 Hands
Session 2: 287 Hands

And In my new Test Database: (I got 181 Import errors)

Session 1: 576 Hands
Session 2: 342 Hands

So in my test i got practicaly all of session 2, but missing hands for session 1 that my orgininal import included. This seems very odd. It is a recent problem cause i have several other sessions from earlier in the week, and they have all included all hands correctly.

Next idea? :)

Thanks

Please zip and mail the original handhistory files (you find them in the HM archive folder or in the handhistory folder of your poker client) together with a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.net. We will then try to reproduce the problem.

There was some update when I started the PKR software...

There was an update to PKR earlier today which has changed the hand history files.

HEM is having problem with Turn and River action, not recognizing this.
So pretty much any hand with turn and river action besides checking won't import correctly.

I'm also having similar problems - big pots not showing in session. Please fix this!

I got the same problem since the update yesterday

Please fix it as fast as possible, as holdem manager is totally useless at the moment at pkr

I bought it just for pkr....

I have the trial version and was thinking about buying the software.

But I have faced import problems with PKR, too. So I'll wait until this gets solved.

So you know, the hands i sent in were from BEFORE this patch, so will not help with everyone else's problem :D

If the support team wants me to send the hands I played after the PKR patch (just about 20 or so... PKR players are soooo slow) I'll do without a doubt.

Just tell me where to send them.

any new information? this situation sucks very much, cant open holdem manager while playing at pkr because he will load in the hands with an error, and then they seem to be gone for the future?

I dont know if it is so, but when holdem manager loads in a HH from the pkr folder it is deleted there, but its also not in the holdem manager, because of the import error?

????????????????????????????????????????????????

it is starting to making me mad, i cant use HEM since 1 week because PKR made a little and senseless change in the hand histories.

How long will it take? i have no overview at all since 8 days -.- and HEM wasnt cheap

Actually I have to say the support maybe nice, but the programming team should improve quite a bit...

It can't be that difficult to make some adjustments to the parser...

But maybe it has to go to a lot of testing ...?

I really hope this gets sorted out as soon as possible since I've bought HEM too, although I'm using it mainly on a different site (although I'm on PKR quite often, and will be more in the next days).

An update on the import errors would be appreciated. As far as I'm aware we wont ever be looking at a HUD for PKR, but it would be great if this recent and presumably small HH update could be adapted to.
Thanks

As far as I'm aware we wont ever be looking at a HUD for PKR,

What do you mean with that? As far as I know HEM supports a PKR HUD, although only for one table, not for multitabling as PKR doesn't allow that.

DrLexy

I meant for multi-tabling HUD capabilities - you are able to play up to 9 tables at once and other software does support it. Anyway, that's not what this thread is about. We are inquiring about the developer's progress in fixing the hand import problem.

Have heard from a good source today that the update for the PKR HHs will take at least 3weeks to complete.

WHAT?????

This must be a joke? There was only the change from "[Ad As] to [Ad] [As]"

I mean I have no deep insight into HEM but in my opinion this shouldn't take longer than 8 hours to sort it out... And that's saying with testing and everything...

Just going from [As Ad] to [As] [Ad] ... it's laughable

Someone wrote a 3rd party program that sources, parses and changes the HH text files to the structure they used to be.
It's in this forum somewhere.

we paid for HEM... can the mods or whoever at least give us some news on what's up with the long wait...?

Apparently there's a major new HEM Release upcoming by New Year which will give much more different, new and detailed stats for FTP and Stars which is why other projects have hit the sidelines. Don't expect anything in the near future, like i said some days ago.

This makes me go insane, since nearly 2 weeks i cant import a hand, i cant do session review, i dont have actual information about villains, i dont even know how much hands i have played

wtf is this?! do some people of hem understand hem is useless for all pkr since 2 weeks?

I agree, even though Hem users that play at PKR are a minority, there is no reason to neglect an update that seems so easy to do.

Disappointed with the support....

Yeah, if they would have thought "pkr is just a minority, not worth to offer support" then it would be fine and i had never bought HEM, and it also doesnt cost 5$ or some peanuts like that.

Hi,

We do apologise for the delay, we had some really difficult problems with our licensing system which delayed the release of this build, we have fixed those issues with the PKR import errors and will release an update as soon as we resolve those issues with the licensing. You can keep an eye on the releases forum for 1.11.05e
