The SNG Wiz section is mainly problems with the software. Which I think will put people off posting detailed hand and calculation discussions. The instructions for sngwiz are a bit lacking and I would like to see more discussion about how to use the software and understand the calculations.

I therefore suggest a seperate section for non technical issues of sngwiz.

The best resource for these types of questions is the 2+2 STT Strategy Forum (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/36/stt-strategy/).

Thankyou

Would you mind explaining quickly how to treat multiple players when calculating ranges. eg. If there are 3 players left to act who have say a 15% calling range each do you just add their ranges together and assume you will be called 45% of the time. Their seems to be a slightly different effect and I'm not sure why

Many thanks

If the first opponent call 15%, then he folds 85%. When he folds the second opponent will call 15%, so the second opponent will call 0.85 * 0.15 = 0.1275, or 12.75% of the time. The third opponent will call 15% only when the other 2 opponents have folded. So he will call 0.85 * 0.85 * 0.15 = 0.108, or 10.8%. So you will be called by exactly 1 opponent 15% + 12.75% + 10.8% = 38.55% of the time.

Excellent. Thanks very much

Any chance you could slip that info into your product instructions? I spent hours trawling the internet trying to find that information, I'm sure many others must have/will experience the same.
