Dear Mister/Mam,

Package Holdem manager professional 1.12.10b
Poker room: 888 poker

I have problems after importing my hands on HM1, they show all negative results after importing.
All these negative results should be positive, see added image too.

Please help?

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Django van Eck

888/Pacific doesn't write how much you win to the handhistory file. (nor -unlike PokerStars- do they write it to a separate summary file).

As a result, HoldemManager is quite useless to track your MTT results for this network.
Though it will still be useful to track either STT results, or see HUD stats when you play any tourney.

Results in HH were always correct from MTT's before importing. Only exception is that it doens't correctly show all rebuys, but winnings are saved correctly in HH. But since exporting and re-importing my hands winnings are showed negative instead of postive before the import.

Please advise.

Thank you for your help.

Can you email us one of these exported handhistory files.?

Update: http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_04Mar2013.exe

Can't you reimport the original handhistory files into a new database?

Dear Patvs,

Please give me the e-mail address I should send the handhistory files too?
I already tried re-importing the hands into another database this doesn't seem to work, but thank you for the advice.

Dear Mister/Mam,

Referring to the following forum post http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/393991-hands-imorted-show-negative-result.html

I tried updating HH database and reimporting hands in new database, but this did not solve the problem. BTW when playing new hands the winnings are showed correctly in HH.
I attached one of the files to this mail.

Please advise.

Django van Eck

I found your email in our system and it seems our testers couldn't reproduce the problem.

Please update to the latest version - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/373771-latest-internal-beta-hm1-update.html

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email another/larger/different sample of problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

Dear Fozzy71,

First of all thank you for the advice and my excuses for letting you wait so long I was on vacation for a while.
Unfortunately the new database was not the solution.
I send an e-mail to your support concerning this problem with my whole hand history zipped.

Thank you for your help!

The mail:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I still have issues after doing the things mentioned in the contact on the forum of Holdem Manager concerning importing hands from 888 poker to the database.
http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/393991-hands-imorted-show-negative-result.html#post1768671

I uploaded all the files to Free File Hosting - Online Storage; Upload Mp3, Videos, Music. Backup Files (http://www.filedropper.com) this is a program to upload and share documents http://www.filedropper.com/888h3ands1
Please check if you have the same problem while importing the complete hand history in the zip.

Thank you very much.

With kind regards,

Django van Eck

Unfortunately you sent us the exported hands instead of the original hand history files as written by the poker client. We need the original hand history files and tournament summary files. Without the summary files HM doesn't know what place you finished in or which prize you received and these summaries will not be included in the exported hands. You can export tournament results from the upper grid of the Tourney Dataview tab but we need the original files from the archive for properly testing this problem you reported.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Please zip the \HMArchive folder and upload that for us to test with.
