I have a huge database. I get about 70k mined hands a day, that makes 2 million new hands a month. Many use mined hands, and that makes a huge database, and ofcourse in time a slow one. How do you guys manage these huge databases? Do you just delete old hands, and if so, how is this done easiest?

I was thinking about combining databases, to solve the problem, making smaller databases maybe spanding a few months, and then combining as many as you need. Does anyone know if this is possible (or maybe could be done) or can you only use one database?

HM only supports one active database at a time but the size should not be a problem.

You should purge the mined hands after the import or after some weeks, this will keep the database smaller but the stats from this hands will remain in the database:
