So I played 5 sets of tournies today most of whic last about an hour each, roughly. HEM has it that I played 8.8 hours. How do I rectify this or is it yet another bug?

Played on Stars?
Are you using the adjust import times for Stars?

Well it's set to 5 and hands show up immediately after playing so times are correct?

Is the displayed handhistory time correct?
Please try to play some tourneys with 1.11.05c: http://forums.holdemmanager.com/releases/39211-1-11-05c-pre-release.html
We had some threads about wrong times in the last weeks and i think there was something changed in this release.

I updated and those 5 hours played stayed as 8 hours but maybe it wont change til future imports? And yeah hh time is spot on.

Yep, the update will not change already imported hands.

Please check it for the next tournaments or create a new database for a test and import the existing hands again.

Having more problems with this. When I select the last 1 hour's worth of games it shows games spanning like 5 hours or something silly! I had FTP import set to 5 but then the time zone changed cos of FTP's new update so I presumed it would need setting back to 0. But then it went to a totally bizarre time on 0. What setting do I need and why does the last 1 hour show up way too many games?????????

Which time zone are you in? The value is the difference between the stars server time and your local time.
You should check the displayed time for some hands in HM to see whether your setting is correct.

I've obviously done that. Else I wouldn't know that 1 hour's past games are covering 5 hours of play would I? I'm WET.I just checked my Stars import time and it's adjusted to "5". I have the time on my Stars client set my own time zone, HEM is +5 and yet the times of the hh's are correct. Exactly the same with FTP excpet they were both wrong on 0 AND 5.

How can this even happen?

Ok, we need to check the hands.
Please zip and mail the original handhistory files and summaries (you find them in the HM archive folder or in the handhistory folder of your poker client) together with a link to this thread and an explanation of the problem to support@holdemmanager.net. We will then try to reproduce the problem.

Winrar won't let me zip them as it comes up with an error to do with me not having an email associated with it.

edit@ ok think I've done it, sent.

I think this is because of time zone changes
I played yesterday on Tilt with it's own time - hand header looks so:
Full Tilt Poker Game #26236142894: $1 + $0.10 Sit&Go (Sup Turbo) (203577995), Table 1 - 15/30 - No Limit Hold'em - 19:24:46 ET - 2010/12/08

Now changed timezone and played sng - header was changed:
Full Tilt Poker Game #26260159827: Satellite to The BLT (203769137), Table 1 - 15/30 - No Limit Hold'em - 00:10:45 EET - 2010/12/10 [17:10:45 ET - 2010/12/09]

Resume: don't change Tilt time till HM developres react on this.

This is getting worse! I set FTP back to -5 and the next few games I played came out ok. They were super turbos. Later I played some normal turbo STT's and HEM has the time as SEVENTEEN HOURS IN THE FUTURE!!!! Ya know one day I might actually have a stable software that I paid however much money for, forgot now it was such a long time ago, so that I can start gathering stats, despite having already played THOUUUSANDS of games I STILL can't put stats together. It's a joke! I'm on here like every damn week lately!

I'm having this problem since months (http://forums.holdemmanager.com/manager-general/36055-adjust-site-import-times.html)

hm couldnt handle import times for me before ftp made the timezone adjustable even tho they were set right and according to in the handhistories (and obv lobby) everything was correctly adjusted in my settings.

now it should be easy to handle as ftp offers also the timezone change. so reset everything to 0 and change the timezones (to the ones your pc runs.) but it still doesnt work ...
