I just installed this and it is cock blocking HEM. It looks different enough from 2010 that I can't figure out how to make the same changes. Any help greatly appreciated. Silly this is the anti-virus program Stars sells in their VIP store.

Even when Kaspersky isn't running I can't connect w/ HEM. Any help greatly appreciated. I'm running windows XP.

My error message is: Unable to read data from transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by remote host.

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue.
First try to reboot.
If no help, try this:

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Stop Service

Start > Programs > PostgreSQL > 8.x > Start Service

If that doesnt help delete the \postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. And reboot

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off.

If that doesn't help you will have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely

Can you find the exceptions list of the Kaspersky firewall, to add port 5432, and postgres.exe?
