Possible HEM newbie question: Is it me, or does middle position only consist of two seats in HEM for full ring 9-handed tables? I play at Full Tilt where all the FR tables have nine seats, and I've always considered the breakdown to go something like this....

Early = UTG, UTG+1
Middle = MP1, MP2, MP3
Late = CO, BTN
SB, BB

However, if it were 10-handed I'd add a hijack seat to late position, but technically MP would still have three seats, and EP is always the two seats after the button.

I think this is how it's designated in PokerTracker (not sure though). Am I way off in thinking of the seats in this way in general? :confused: If I am, maybe I should adjust my concepts about position.

HM uses something like:

Which is commonly used in poker tracking software. (and is completely different to most poker tv shows, which focus on postflop position)

So 9 handed would be
Early = UTG, UTG+1, UTG+2
Middle = MP1, MP2
Late = CO, BTN
SB, BB

and 10 handed would add MP3 (=HIJACK) to the Middle

That makes sense. Maybe I was wrong about PT. Thanks!
