Recently, my desktop computer's operating system (Windows Vista Home Professional 64 bit) crashed on me. I took the computer to Best Buy to get it fixed and for data recovery. I had not recently done the "export all hands" back up feature on my primary HEM database... also I did not have my own personal hands going to a processed hands folder unfortunately since I routinely deleted all the processed hands due to that file getting really large because of all of the datamined hands I had auto imported into my database...(stupid, yes I know).
So I was able to find that the Postgre SQL 8.3 folder I had on my computer was huge (around 300GB) so I had them back up that, as well as the Holdem Manager folder and the HM Archive folder. Now, I have Windows 7 Home Professional 64 bit installed on my Desktop computer and basically my computer is like brand new. So I need to re-install HEM but I want to make sure that I will be able to access the databases I had on my computer prior to the crash. Is there a way to do this with the Postgre SQL files I backed up?
Thanks for any and all advice!
