Do to a major FU, (deleted ATI catalysist), I had to restore my system.

Postgres wouldn't start, so I had to reinstall.

My Postgres DB was located in D:\Poker\Postgres DB.

When I reinstalled and was prompted for the data directory, I used the above.

I also use the Postgresql default password of "postgres".

However when I started HM, it opened with the name of my old DB (P1) but there were hands in the db (I had several hundred thousand).

I double checked in the registry that the data directory was infact "D:\Poker\Postgres DB".

Still no joy.

I did notice when I enter Database Management in HM, and the Database Control Panel comes up, It has a password of postgrespass. But if I try postgres, it gives me an error that the password is incorrect.

Please tell me this is an easy fix, and I don't have to reimport all my hands...

I did verify that the existing D:\Poker|Postgress DB has 30GB of data, so I'm sure the data is still there...

Thx in advance once again!

P1

I think the folder ...\Pokerdb you entered is not a valid data folder. There should be a subfolder named data which is the relevant thing. I guess you have 2 or more data folders there and you choosed the wrong one.
