I can not reproduce this. It works fine for me on both cash and tourney. Which site and which games are you playing?

*Try creating a new UTF DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/75/Create+%7B47%7D+Delete+Database
*Now import a small portion of your \HMArchive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/98/How+to+Import+%26+Export+Hands
*If the new DB seems to work properly, you will want to import the rest of your archives to the new DB, export/import the hands from the old DB to the new DB, and export/import any player notes and tourney summaries - and then delete the old DB.
*Make sure you export/backup everything before deleting the old DB - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/372/Reinstalling+on+a+new+PC+-+Backup+Tips

If you continue to have problems, please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).

Try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database to see if it helps the speed - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/88/Vacuum+Analyze+Database+

How big is your database? How many hands does your hero/alias have? What are your system specs: CPU, RAM, HDD speed?

i use an E8500 (dual core) @ 3.16Ghz, and 3.25 GB RAM, hdd speed is 7500rpm

I will do some testing on my laptop which is i7-2670QM @ 2.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM, and 5,400 RPM HDD. I don't think I have a large database in HM1 so I will have to import the hands over night.

since last 500 hands shows me only last 100 hands i think it has to be a bug?!? or a problem in my software.

maybe i should install hem1 again?

Or try reimporting your hands into a new empty database.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?
Which PostgreSQL version are you using?

How large (in millions of hands - estimate) is your database?

Please update to the latest beta - http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate_Release_04Mar2013.exe

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin" from the compatibility tab.

Add exceptions to the windows firewall for holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe, even if the firewall is turned off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily.

Make sure your video card drivers and windows auto updates are fully updated. Run a manual Windows Update and install all updates, including all .net framework updates.

its crazy, i installed the latest beta, tested it, didnt work. then i tested it again and suddenly it works, when i chose last 500 hands i can see last 500 now, but its still needs a very long time until i see this hands.

i use win xp sp3, kaspersky internet security 2013 (test version), postgres 8.4 and my database has ~3 million hands.
i also added the holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe to the windows firewall exeptions

EDIT: but when i chose last 100 hands now, nothing happens, something is rlly messed up with my pc maybe, i dont know

Did you set exceptions for HM in kaspersky? Try removing it completely to see if it helps.

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with holdem manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmBetaUpdate.exe
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/275/Windows+Firewall+%7B47%7D+Defender+Problems
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - Microsoft Security Essentials - Microsoft Windows (http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/)

ok, i removed kaspersky and installed microsoft security essentials, but i still have the problem (500 hands shows no hands or sometimes 100 hands).

is microsoft security essentials good or should i install kaspersky or avira antivir again?

Microsoft security essentials is fine. It never causes problems (unlike Kaspersky which does).

Can you post a screenshot of what your full HoldemManager window looks like when this bug occurs?

I am not sure what could be causing this problem since you have already tried a new database. The only thing I can think to try is to reinstall postgresql completely. If you want to give that a try follow these instructions but that means you will need to reimport all your hands again.

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Holdem_Manager_Setup.exe

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.
2) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete

4) reboot.
5) Install PostgreSQL 8.3.9 from this link - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloads/Postgres_8.3.9-v1.0.7.exe
