Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

For W7 and Vista you must set \holdem manager\dbcontrolpanel.exe, holdemmanager.exe and hmhud.exe are started as administrator. Run the windows explorer and navigate to your Holdemmanager installation directory. Right click the executables and select properties... then select "Run as admin"from the compatibility tab.

thanks for helping me out..

now all the .exe's start as admin
but so far i just didnt work
i still have this very laggy performance

i use Win 7 , windows firewall is on and avira antivir prem

i tried to set priorities to HIGH for the dbcontrol, hmhud and hm but i couldnt change it cause the system denies it (even as admin permission is denied)

any further hints?

Is this on a laptop?
What sort of harddisk, amount of RAM, computer specs?

its a desktop system

OCZ SSD Harddrive, 8gb ram, AMd phenom x6 3.2ghz
graphic: Club 3d hd5500 eyefinity
os win7 64

its pretty strange because i tried again and now the lag continous also after i shut down the hud and hem
and i think it could be a problem with the graphic card but im not sure

Run a system check.
Update videocard with latest Ati beta driver, run something like CrystalDiskMark if the harddisk is running on full speed.
Maybe there was a new firmware update?
