I have down loaded the lastest version of HM but when I click onto the HM icon to start it up it won't start and I get this message. (C:\Program Files\RVG Software\Holdem Manager\HoldemManager.exe ..... This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application my fix the problem.)

I have reinstalled HM four times now and I get the same problem can you help me with this. Also I'm trying to install this on a windows XP system.

Did you also reinstall .net framework? Can you post a screenshot of this error, Are you familiar with Event Viewer. Can you go to Control Panel > Admin Tools > Event Viewer and then into applications and you should see an error for postgreSQL that corresponds to the time of the error, can you post the details of that error too.

What version of Windows do you have and whats the service pack installed (right click on My Computer and choose properties to see these details)

Can you update XP to Service Pack 3
Reboot
Run a manual Windows Update, and install EVERY critical/important updates

And all .net framework/vc++ non-important updates
