HEM was having issues (some sort of error message about a corrupt line or something), so I deleted the prefs file in the Config folder per a HEM forum thread.

Didn't work, so I downloaded newest HEM version. Still no dice, so I created a new database and now just wondering how I can load hands from the old corrupt database into the new one.

Import the hands from your archive should restore your DB. Any hands auto-imported are moved to the archive. If you play a site like stars/ftp you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.

Your \HMArchive is likely not in your \Holdem Manager directory. We normally suggest you use C:\HMArchive, but you may have put it anywhere.

To verify the location: Options > Configure Auto Import Folders > Edit > Archive Folder: ___________________

The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HMArchive\2009\07\31).
